The Stum Safe Shield sticks to your pickguard or guitar body with double sided tape and only takes seconds to install. It prevents accidental changes to your volume level while still giving you open access to the knob for volume changes or volume swells. It is perfectly safe for Polyurethane or Polyester finishes (gloss or satin) - but it is NOT made for delicate Nitrocellulose finishes that can easily discolor or peel from contact with the tape. If you wish to stop using it, light upwards pressure on the back wall will pop it off the guitar.
